Let’s Talk Apprenticeships: A Beginner’s Guide to apprenticeships and funding

With the construction industry facing a growing skills shortage and increasing numbers of young people not in education, employment or training, apprenticeships play a vital role in building the future workforce. Join us for an informative online session designed to simplify apprenticeships and funding for employers in the construction sector in England. In just one hour, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how apprenticeships work, what funding is available, and how to access additional support as well as insight into the apprenticeships that CIOB offer.

This session will cover:

• The basics of apprenticeships – what they are and the benefits of employing an apprentice
• How apprenticeship funding works, including costs for SMEs and guidance on the new funding available
• An overview of CITB funding, grants and how to access additional support
• An overview of CIOB apprenticeships (Levels 3, 4 and 6)
