Summary

Join CIOB London for an exciting panel discussion.

Join an outstanding panel in London on 14th May, as they explore the possible ‘misconceptions’ of the skills gap in construction and find out what needs to be done to address it.

For some time, construction employers and commentators have complained about a ‘skills gap’. But with plenty of skilled people looking for work, or people working in industries they did not train in, our panel looks to demystify the barriers to entering the construction industry.

Join London CIOB as we discover the journeys of people looking to start a career in construction. Examine the challenges employers face when hiring people with the skills they require.

The panel will discuss the challenges and solutions to connect skilled people with the right employers. If you’re an employer, join us to identify and retain the right people. If you’re an employee, find the ideal role and make yourself stand out in a sea of applicants.
